The University of Sydney is inviting applications for the 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, offering a significant financial opportunity for international students beginning an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in Australia.
Through the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme (VCIS), the University provides up to $40,000 in support to academically outstanding students. This scholarship is a one-time award given in the first year of study and is not renewable in subsequent years.
The initiative aims to attract top-tier international students by easing financial barriers and recognizing academic merit. The scholarship is only applicable to students who receive an unconditional offer to study at the University of Sydney and have not yet started their program.

Have applied for but not yet started a CRICOS-registered bachelor’s or coursework master’s program normally delivered on campus
