• Nationality Requirements: Applicants must be nationals of countries with diplomatic relations with Japan. Dual nationals must renounce their Japanese citizenship before arrival.

• Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after April 2, 1990.

• Academic and Professional Background: Applicants must be university graduates or have completed teacher training colleges with at least five years of teaching experience as of April 1, 2025.

• Japanese Language Proficiency: A strong desire to learn Japanese is required.

• Health Standards: Medical fitness, confirmed by a certified health certificate, is required.

• Arrival in Japan: Applicants must arrive in Japan within the designated period, typically two weeks before the program starts.

• Visa Requirements: Applicants must obtain a "Student" visa before entering Japan and maintain this status.

Benefits of the Japanese Government MEXT Teachers Training Scholarship 2025:

• Allowance: 143,000 yen per month will be provided, with an additional regional allowance of 2,000 or 3,000 yen per month.

• Education Fees: MEXT will cover fees for the entrance examination, matriculation, and tuition at universities.
