Recipients will receive a total award of €10,000 for one academic year, available to undergraduate, master’s, or undivided program students. This scholarship supports academic achievers and engaged students continuing their studies in Europe.

The Hungary National Higher Education Scholarship is governed by existing legislation, including Act CCIV of 2011 and Government Decree 51/2007. These guidelines remain applicable for the 2025–2026 academic year. The scholarship continues to recognize excellent academic or professional performance from the 2024–2025 session.

Awardees will not only receive financial aid but also gain recognition for their commitment to excellence, both academically and professionally.

To be eligible for the Hungary National Higher Education Scholarship, candidates must:

• Be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or undivided program (state-funded or self-financed)
• Have completed a minimum of two semesters of study
• Earned at least 55 credits to date
• Show strong academic results, professional development, or active participation in community or university life

• Visit the official scholarship page of the University of Szeged
• Fill out the online application form and include a verified institutional evaluation
• Submit the application via the Modulo electronic platform before the July 7, 2025 (11:59 PM) deadline
