The Ashesi-ETH Master's Scholarship is now open for its 2026 intake, providing a fully funded opportunity for African students to earn a master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering through a joint program between ETH Zurich in Switzerland and Ashesi University in Ghana.

The program covers all academic-related costs, including tuition, fees, accommodation, health insurance, laptop and study materials, a return flight home annually, and a monthly living stipend. This innovative collaboration equips students with advanced engineering skills, research exposure, and industry connections across two continents.

Jointly organized by ETH Zurich and Ashesi University, the master's program began in 2022 and has already welcomed 40 students from seven African nations. Courses are delivered in block sessions by faculty from both institutions, with strong involvement from industry partners. The program is designed to foster leadership, technical expertise, and practical experience.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Ashesi-ETH Master in Mechatronic Engineering, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of an African country

• Hold a BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Computer, Process, or Mechatronics Engineering

• Have earned at least a Second Class Upper degree

• Show proficiency in English
