Exciting opportunity for postgraduate students! The Government of Malaysia is now accepting applications for the 2025 MTCP Scholarship — a fully funded initiative offering complete tuition coverage and an annual living stipend of $9,516 to successful international candidates pursuing Master's degrees in Malaysia.

Selected applicants will benefit from financial support, including tuition fees and various allowances, aimed at equipping them with skills to aid development in their home countries. The scholarship runs for 24 to 36 months depending on the program duration.

The MTCP Scholarship is funded by the Malaysian government to promote international development and collaboration. It supports students from developing nations in gaining advanced knowledge while contributing to their countries’ growth. The scheme covers accommodation, travel, medical insurance, thesis support, and more.

To be eligible for the Malaysia MTCP Scholarship, applicants must:

• Hold a degree in fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering (excluding Medicine, Nursing, Clinical Pharmacy), Economics, Finance, Management, Banking, Social Sciences, ICT, International Relations, Agriculture, or Education
• Be 45 years of age or younger
• Possess a second-class upper honors or a minimum GPA of 3.50
• Have studied previously with English as the medium of instruction

Applications should be submitted through the MTCP platform. To apply:

• Apply for admission to a recognized Malaysian university
• Visit the MTCP Scholarship portal and create an account
• Complete the application form and upload required documents such as academic records, recommendation letter, and proof of English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL IBT 70)
