The 2025 McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill University in Canada is a fully funded opportunity that also provides a living allowance to help cover everyday expenses while studying. For those relocating to Montréal, additional relocation support is included.

Recipients of this scholarship gain access to a mentor, coach, and advisors who offer guidance and support. The program focuses not only on leadership development but also on creating opportunities for learning and personal growth.
Scholarship Overview:The McCall MacBain Scholarships support students pursuing a funded master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill, alongside an interdisciplinary leadership curriculum. Up to 20 Canadians and 10 international students will be selected for the 2025 intake. Additional regional and finalist awards will also be available for outstanding candidates.
Alongside financial aid, scholars benefit from affordable tuition, Montréal’s relatively low cost of living, and access to French language courses from beginner to advanced level.

Who Can Apply?To qualify for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a current student on track to complete their first bachelor’s degree by August 2026
- Have completed their first bachelor’s degree in January 2020 or later
- Have earned their first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and be 30 years old or younger in 2025
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (or recognized equivalent) and meet the academic and language requirements for McGill master’s admission
Applicants should follow these steps:
- Begin the McCall MacBain Scholarship application between June and August 20, 2025
- Submit a separate application for a McGill master’s program starting in the following fall
- Attend interviews if shortlisted
This scholarship fully funds tuition and fees for the standard length of the program, provides a monthly living stipend of $2,300 during academic terms, offers relocation support, and includes French language training.
