Great news for international students! Imperial College London is now accepting applications for its 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship in the Department of Chemical Engineering — a generous bursary offering financial support for students pursuing studies in the UK.

Successful applicants will receive an annual cash award of £20,000, paid directly to the student for up to four academic years. This scholarship aims to support students from underrepresented or low-income backgrounds, helping them access world-class education at one of the UK’s top institutions.

The A&BK Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students entering the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial for the 2025/26 academic year. The scholarship is non-deferrable and subject to terms and conditions. The scheme, launched in 2022–23, will continue through the 2026–27 academic cycle.

To be considered for the A&BK Scholarship, applicants must:

• Have a verified household income of £42,000 or less via Student Finance England or equivalent authority (SFW, SAAS, SFNI)
• Qualify for Home fee status
• Meet Imperial’s contextual admissions or widening participation criteria
• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time undergraduate course in Chemical Engineering starting in 2025/26

Applications are submitted through the College’s scholarship process. To apply, candidates should:

• Apply for student finance and ensure means-testing is completed (may take up to 8 weeks)
• Consent to share income data with Imperial College
• Submit a UCAS application for the Chemical Engineering program and secure an offer by May 30, 2025 (11:59 PM UK time)
