The Schwarzman Scholars Program is now accepting applications for its 2026 cohort, offering an exceptional, fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue a one-year master’s degree in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

This prestigious scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, travel, housing, health insurance, and personal expenses—including an annual stipend of ¥25,512 and a personal laptop. Designed to foster a new generation of global leaders, the program offers access to expert faculty, cultural immersion, leadership development, and academic resources at one of Asia’s top universities.

Funded by the Schwarzman Scholars Foundation, the initiative aims to strengthen mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world by bringing together future leaders from across the globe.     Who Can Apply?

    To qualify for the Schwarzman Scholars Program, applicants must:

    • Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent

    • Be between 18 and 28 years old

    • Demonstrate proficiency in English

    • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, academic excellence, and a commitment to global engagement

    Applicants must also submit:

    • A completed online application

    • A resume (maximum 2 pages)

    • Three letters of recommendation

    • Two essays: a 750-word Leadership Essay and a 500-word Statement of Purpose

    • Academic transcripts

    • A one-minute video introduction

    Applications are submitted online via the official Schwarzman Scholars portal. Qualified candidates should:
