Kohli Retains Orange Cap, Prasidh Krishna Tops Wicket Charts Amid SRH-DC Washout
The IPL 2025 leaderboards remained unchanged on Monday night after heavy rain forced a washout in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in Hyderabad.
Orange Cap Standings
Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) continues to dominate the batting charts with 505 runs from 11 innings. Breathing down his neck is Gujarat Titans (GT) batter B Sai Sudharsan, just one run behind, having played one game fewer. Mumbai Indians' (MI) Suryakumar Yadav holds third position with 475 runs.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal trails narrowly with 473 runs from 12 innings, followed closely by GT's Jos Buttler (470) and Shubman Gill (465), occupying fifth and sixth places respectively.
Purple Cap Standings
In the bowling department, GT's Prasidh Krishna continues his impressive run, leading the Purple Cap table with 19 wickets from 10 games. RCB's Josh Hazlewood follows closely with 18 wickets, also from 10 matches.
Arshdeep Singh’s three-wicket haul against Lucknow Super Giants in Dharamsala elevated him to third with 16 wickets in 11 matches. Sharing the same wicket tally are CSK’s Noor Ahmad and MI’s Trent Boult, but Arshdeep edges them both out thanks to a superior economy rate.
